Koperniak Sensational, 5-for-7 Thursday, August 14th , 2025 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Hempstead's 23-6 win over London, left fielder Matt Koperniak was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ballpark of London. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Koperniak said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Matt Koperniak hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
