Liranzo Keeps Hit Streak Alive Monday, August 18th , 2025 Trenton lost to the Albany Ambassadors, 10-2, at Ambassadors Ballpark, but Thayron Liranzo kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 2 hits. The Thunder catcher has now delivered hits in 30 straight games. "Thayron has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Trenton manager told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Thayron Liranzo singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This season, Liranzo is batting .411 with 53 hits, 10 home runs, 34 RBIs, 33 walks, .537 OBP and has scored 32 runs. He has played in 36 games. |
