Hernaiz Smacks 5 Hits for Castors Friday, August 22nd , 2025 Quebec Castors shortstop Darell Hernaiz banged out 5 hits, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the London Wolverines, 16-9. He went 5-for-5 and raised his batting average a few points. "If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Hernaiz said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins." Darell Hernaiz hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Ryan Hartman in the 9th. So far this season, Hernaiz is batting .281 with 12 home runs, 56 RBIs and 88 runs scored. He has 130 hits in 463 at-bats, 66 walks and a .373 OBP. Hernaiz has played in 113 games. View Boxscore |
