White Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Tuesday, June 30th , 2026 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Eli White did it again, bashing 2 hits in the contest at Millers Ballpark. For the last 20 games in a row, the 32-year-old third baseman has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Canton Cutters beat the Madison Millers, 13-9. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," White told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Canton clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Eli White struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This year, White is hitting .394 with 4 home runs and 20 RBIs in 22 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .486 with 14 walks and 17 runs scored. |
