EL Announces Outstanding Batter Award Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 June was a good month for JJ Matijevic. The Hempstead left fielder had his way with opposing pitchers all month while posting a .471 batting average and was selected as the Eastern League Batter of the Month. Last month Matijevic put up some solid numbers: 13 home runs, 26 RBIs, 28 runs scored and a .584 on-base percentage. This season, Matijevic has hit at a .380 clip with 45 RBIs, 22 home runs and 45 runs scored. |
