Kessinger Hits in 25 Consecutive Games Wednesday, July 29th , 2026 With 1 hit at Beacons Ballpark, Grae Kessinger added another game to his hitting streak -- the London shortstop has now hit safely for 25 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Wolverines, as they fell, 6-5, to the Plattsburgh Beacons. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Plattsburgh manager said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Grae Kessinger struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and walked in the 8th. This year, Kessinger has collected a .341 batting average to date with 103 hits in 302 at-bats, 73 RBIs, 16 home runs and scored 76 times. He has played in 81 games. |
