Season Over for Walter Pennington in Moore Wednesday, September 3rd , 2025 Walter Pennington of the Moore Tornadoes was injured in today's game against Pascagoula and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is shoulder inflammation, and he is expected to be out for up to 6 months. It happened while Pennington was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Pennington has taken the mound for 25 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 3-3 record with a 4.74 ERA.
