Birmingham Loses Hayden Seig, Will Miss Season Thursday, September 4th , 2025 Hayden Seig of the Bombers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old Birmingham reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Clearwater Beach Pirates recently at Bombers Stadium. Seig suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. The Bombers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. This season, he has made 5 relief appearances, collecting no saves. Seig has worked 7.1 innings, yielding 11 hits and giving out 1 free passes while striking out 9. He has a 0-1 record with a 8.59 ERA. |
