Clearwater Beach's Fry Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, May 4th , 2026 Pitchers who faced the Clearwater Beach Pirates last week were happy to see David Fry in the rear-view mirror. The 30-year-old catcher was dubbed the Southern League Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .542 clip. For the week he also chalked up 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 7 runs scored. At present, Fry is batting .382 and has collected 6 home runs, 22 RBIs, .455 OBP and scored 17 runs. |
