That's exactly what Mandy Alvarez did at Montgomery Grounds, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 16-3. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Alvarez said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Havana Conquistadors second baseman blistered the Clearwater Beach Pirates for 4 hits, batted in 7 runs and scored 4 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Clearwater Beach manager said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Mandy Alvarez hit a two-run home run off Jacob Miller in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Cole Tolbert in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Brandon Beckel in the 8th.
