SL Announces Player of the Week Monday, July 6th , 2026 Southern League pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Kyle McCann of the Birmingham Bombers out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 28-year-old catcher boasted a .714 average with 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 8 runs scored. McCann went 15-for-21 for the week. This season, McCann is batting at a .317 clip with 14 home runs and 39 RBIs. |
