Crooks Week's Best in SL Monday, May 19th , 2025 It was an extraordinary week for Jimmy Crooks of the Clearwater Beach Pirates. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .522, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Southern League. Last week Crooks went 12-for-23, racked up 4 home runs and 14 RBIs and scored 9 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Clearwater Beach catcher. Crooks is batting .349 this season in 28 games with 10 home runs, 35 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 37 hits in 106 at-bats. |
