Azocar Slaps 5 Hits Tuesday, May 20th , 2025 Jose Azocar was smoking all game at the plate, but couldn't finish his day with a victory cigar. After the 29-year-old Shreveport Captains center fielder tallied 5 hits in 6 at-bats, he was forced to watch as his club dropped the 10-8 decision to the Moore Tornadoes. "That was no fun," Azocar said to reporters after the game. "You hate to lose any game but it's even worse somehow to feel like you did enough to win." Jose Azocar singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Seth Elledge in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
