Diaz Joins 3-HR Club Monday, July 21st , 2025 It was a special day for Jordan Diaz, but less so for the Plano-Frisco Roughriders. Diaz slammed three home runs against the San Jose Thorns, but the Thorns outhit him and got the win by a score of 11-10. "Lately, I been uppercutting the ball too much. I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark," he said to sportswriters after the game. "No big long outs for me in this game -- I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot three times. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The Plano-Frisco third baseman finished the day at Roughriders Ballpark with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 RBI and 3 runs scored.
