Gonzalez Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Tuesday, July 29th , 2025 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Gabriel Gonzalez did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at Titans Ballpark. For the last 20 games in a row, the 21-year-old right fielder has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Tempe Titans beat the Midland Rattlers, 4-2. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Gonzalez told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Tempe clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Gabriel Gonzalez grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and flied out in the 8th. This year, Gonzalez is hitting at a .303 pace with 17 home runs and 53 RBIs. He has played in 93 games and scored 63 times. |
