Midland Loses Philip Clarke, Will Miss Season Tuesday, August 26th , 2025 Philip Clarke of the Rattlers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 27-year-old Midland catcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Tempe Titans recently at Rattlers Ballpark. Clarke suffered a ruptured achilles tendon while running the bases. The Rattlers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 6 months. So far in 2025 Clarke is batting .255 with 7 home runs, 56 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has 83 hits in 326 at-bats and a .371 OBP. |
