6-Hit Barrage by Ewing Wednesday, April 15th , 2026 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for AJ Ewing -- a 6-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Roswell Grounds and paced the 16-3 UFO win over the Fresno Grizzlies. After his dynamite batting performance, the Roswell second baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 6 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. AJ Ewing doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
