Winston-Salem-Lynchburg Brawl, Alexander and Brennan Suspended

If there wasn't a history between Evan Alexander of Winston-Salem and Tim Brennan of Lynchburg, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 9 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.
"We're both really competitive," Alexander said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."
A look at his current stats shows Alexander with a .259 average, 13 home runs, 38 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has played in 90 games.
Up to now Brennan has recorded a record of 0-0. In 3 starts he has fanned 39 batters in 74.2 innings with a 4.34 ERA.
