Danville on Top of Carolina League Western Division Wednesday, August 20th , 2025 A season's worth of hard work has culminated in a division championship for the Danville Raiders. The club officially clinched its spot atop the Carolina League Western Division today, with plenty of games to spare. "It feels good to get it wrapped up early and now be able to set ourselves up for the playoffs," said reliever Randy Bell. The club currently has a 78-44 record and this is their 7th division championship. "We want to bring the 1st Round 2 to Danville," said the team's manager. "We think we've got what it takes to be the best in Carolina League." |
