Alexandria Clinches Postseason Appearance Sunday, August 31st , 2025 The Alexandria Dukes are celebrating a trip to the postseason and say they plan to make the most of the opportunity. The team officially clinched a wild card berth today and second baseman Christian Moore said they are "looking forward to making some noise" in the playoffs. "There's nothing better than postseason baseball," he said. "We hope to go on a deep run and give our fans in Alexandria something to be excited about." For now, excitement is running high as the team's 74-58 record has clinched the playoff position and the team has a chance to win its 1st Carolina League championship. |
