Alexandria Reliever Hurt Sunday, August 31st , 2025 Kervin Castro will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Alexandria reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Castro was injured while throwing a pitch in the Dukes-Smokers clash at Ballpark of Winston-Salem recently. Doctors said he has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 14 months. Castro has nailed down 19 saves for the year. He has also totaled 40 strikeouts and 23 walks in 39 innings while registering a 6.23 ERA and a 1-4 won-lost record. |
