Perlaza Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, September 1st , 2025 This week's recipient of the Carolina League Player of the Week Award is left fielder Yonathan Perlaza of Newport News. Perlaza showed great patience at the plate, collecting 11 hits in 26 at-bats as he compiled a .423 average, 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Posting a .278 batting average to date, Perlaza has 24 home runs and 103 RBIs. |
