Denton Named Top Car Hurler Monday, September 1st , 2025 Danville's Cade Denton hated to see August end. It was one of the single greatest months the reliever has posted, and the 23-year-old reliever did so well that he garnered enough votes for the Carolina League Pitcher of the Month trophy. Denton held the opposition to a .174 batting average in 10 relief appearances. He worked 13.1 innings, collected 8 saves, sat down 7 on strikes and posted a 2-0 record and a 0.00 ERA. To date this year, Denton has fashioned a 3.14 ERA over 51.2 innings with a 4-5 record. He has made 50 relief appearances with 39 strikeouts and 35 saves. |
