League Issues 4-Game Suspensions for Brawl
Friday, May 1st , 2026
Baseball confrontations occasionally get intense and sometimes that tension becomes too much and boils over into more than just words. This time it happened to Kingston's Anthony Stephan and Lynchburg's Matt Givin. The two were the main participants in a fight that cleared the benches. Today both were suspended by the league for 4 games for their aggressive actions.
"I hope things settle down now," the manager of the Scouts said later. "There's no reason for us to be locked in a cycle of revenge. We all need to focus on baseball instead."
At the moment, Stephan is hitting .400 with no home runs and 9 RBIs. He has played in 11 games and scored 7 times.
