Pries Pounds 3 HR Wednesday, May 6th , 2026 Whatever Micah Pries ate for breakfast before his game against the Lynchburg Scouts, it gave him some impressive power. The Brunswick right fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Ironmen Ballpark. His home run barrage helped the Pilots defeat the Scouts, 9-8. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 5-for-9, scored 4 times, drove in 4 and put on a display that history will remember. Micah Pries hit a solo-shot off JD McReynolds in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Denny Larrondo in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, struck out in the 10th, singled in the 13th, flied out in the 15th and hit a solo-shot off Harrison Kreiling in the 17th. This year, Pries has hit 4 home runs and posted a .297 batting average. |
