Alexandria's Stanifer to Miss Season Friday, June 12th , 2026 The doctors have spoken and Gage Stanifer of the Alexandria Dukes didn't like what he heard. The 22-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Stanifer sustained his season-ending injury during the Easton Grays game yesterday at Dukes Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Alexandria medical staff reported Stanifer had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 14 months. |
