Hitting Streak Still Alive for Westbrook Saturday, June 13th , 2026 Jamie Westbrook continued his streak at Ballpark of Kingston, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Kingston left fielder was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 25 games. The Buccaneers were not as fortunate, losing, 10-3, to the Danville Raiders. "Westbrook was hitting everything we threw at him," said Danville manager . "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win." Jamie Westbrook struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a sac fly in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. To date this year, Westbrook is batting .423 with 8 home runs. |
