Carolina League Names #1 Pitcher in June Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 Will Klein was ecstatic to win June's Carolina League Pitcher of the Month honors today. The 26-year-old Easton pitcher thanked fans, his coaches and the voters for the honor -- despite the fact that he deserved much of the credit himself. Klein's star burned bright last month as he made 11 relief appearances, notching 10 saves and 12 strikeouts in 11.1 innings. He held opposing hitters to a .158 average to put up his 1-0 mark and 0.79 ERA. This season, Klein has made 29 relief appearances, pitched 30.1 innings and struck out 33 with a record of 1 win and 2 losses. He has compiled a 2.67 ERA and saved 19 games. |
