Miller Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Lynchburg Wednesday, May 14th , 2025 The Lynchburg Scouts pitching staff did its job, holding hot-hitting Tyler Miller hitless in 2 at-bats during the club's 5-0 victory over the Alexandria Dukes at Dukes Ballpark. The disappointing performance ended a 20-game hitting streak for the first baseman. "I'm a little down right now," Miller said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." Thus far this year, Miller has hit .331 with 2 home runs and 14 RBIs. |
