Scott II Swings for the Cycle Thursday, May 15th , 2025 It was a special day for Victor Scott II at Danville Fields. Not only did Scott II's Danville Raiders beat the Kingston Buccaneers, 7-4, but the center fielder hit for the cycle along the way. The 24-year-old Scott II racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name in the record books. For the game, he went 4-for-5 with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored. "He hit everything we threw," said Buccaneers manager . "There was just no getting him out today." Speaking to the press after the game, Scott II said his goal for the day had been to look for "first pitch fastballs." "I got some good looks today," he said. Victor Scott II grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Derek Casey in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
