Valera Wins CAL Player of the Week Monday, April 28th , 2025 It was an extraordinary week for Leonel Valera of the San Bernadino 66ers. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .429, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the California League. Last week Valera went 12-for-28, racked up 4 home runs and 11 RBIs and scored 8 runs. It was a heck of a week for the San Bernadino shortstop. Valera is swinging at a .384 pace on the year with 7 home runs, 26 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has played in 19 games. |
