Nickens Smacks 5 Hits for Kachinas Sunday, April 19th , 2026 It takes more than one player to win a baseball game - as proven by Cameron Nickens of the Flagstaff Kachinas. The Flagstaff left fielder gave it his all and dominated San Mateo Bloom pitching at Kachinas Ballpark, finishing with a great 5-for-5 line. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Bloom going home the winner, 9-6. "There's no point gloating about a 5-hit day in a loss," Nickens said. "A loss just means you should have done more. Maybe I should have hit 5 home runs instead." Cameron Nickens hit a solo-shot off Robbie Erlin in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
