Peaks Sikkema to Miss Year
Monday, April 27th , 2026
The doctors have spoken and T.J. Sikkema of the Provo Peaks didn't like what he heard. The 27-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Sikkema sustained his season-ending injury during the San Bernadino 66ers game yesterday at Ballpark of San Bernadino. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Provo medical staff reported Sikkema had radial nerve compression and would be absent from the lineup for at least 8-9 months.
