Dirden Wins CAL Player of the Week Honors Monday, June 29th , 2026 Not every ball that came off Justin Dirden's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Provo Peaks. For his exploits, Dirden was named this week's California League Player of the Week award. The Provo left fielder put up 10 hits in 14 at-bats and 2 home runs while hitting .714 with 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Dirden is batting .423 this year with 9 home runs, 29 RBIs and 28 runs scored.
