Polanco Swings for the Cycle Monday, July 27th , 2026 Shalin Polanco punished the Provo Peaks, leading the 66ers to a win, 23-8. In doing so, Polanco hit for the cycle, tagging the Peaks for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. A player hitting a single, a double, a triple and a home run in the same game is one of the more unusual feats in professional baseball and typically happens only a couple times per season. "Well, I didn't expect that to happen," the San Bernadino center fielder said after the game. "I got some great pitches and I hit their mistakes." Polanco also had 7 RBI and 4 runs scored in the game at Peaks Ballpark. Shalin Polanco singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
