Player of the Week: Plant City's Cavenaugh Monday, August 18th , 2025 Not every ball that came off Pres Cavenaugh's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Plant City Farmers. For his exploits, Cavenaugh was named this week's Florida State League Player of the Week award. The Plant City left fielder put up 16 hits in 29 at-bats and 5 home runs while hitting .552 with 9 RBIs and 12 runs scored. This season, Cavenaugh has hit at a .349 clip with 70 RBIs, 18 home runs and 85 runs scored. He has played in 110 games. |
