Daytona-St. Lucie Fight Results in Suspensions Sunday, August 24th , 2025 Esteban Gonzalez of the Daytona Firebirds and Conner Whittaker of the St. Lucie Sand Gnats will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Firebirds-Sand Gnats game at Ballpark of St. Lucie. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Gonzalez and Whittaker will begin serving them soon. So far this season, Gonzalez has hit .378 with 7 home runs, 62 RBIs and scored 60 times. This season, Whittaker has worked 134.1 innings with 97 strikeouts en route to a 9-7 record and a 5.16 ERA. |
