Correa Keeps Hit Streak Alive Friday, May 2nd , 2025 The hitting streak for Vero Beach catcher J.C. Correa now stands at 20 games, but the Blue Angels dropped today's contest 10-6 to the Lakeland Catfish. Correa went 1-for-3 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." J.C. Correa singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, walked in the 5th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. For the season, Correa is hitting at a .494 clip with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and has scored 20 runs. He has 39 hits, 10 walks and a .556 on-base percentage. |
