Frey Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Wednesday, June 17th , 2026 Ethan Frey, right fielder for the Lakeland Catfish, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 6-5 victory over the Dunedin Danger at Catfish Ballpark. "Not the outcome we wanted," Dunedin manager said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Ethan Frey flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 7th, flied out in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th and hit a solo-shot off Jay Dill in the 13th. Frey is batting at a .291 pace this season, picking up 71 hits in 244 at-bats with 8 home runs, 35 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
