Cunningham Goes on Rampage Against Tigers Wednesday, June 24th , 2026 Daytona center fielder Jake Cunningham had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the Tampa Tigers at Ballpark of Daytona as the Firebirds picked up a win, 14-12. "He was patient up there," Daytona skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Cunningham has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Jake Cunningham singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
