Dean Takes Best Bat Trophy in June Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 For a rookie just breaking in, Justin Dean certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the FSL Batter of the Month award for June. The 29-year-old center fielder for the Gainesville Gators hit .358 with 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 28 runs scored. This season, Dean is swinging the bat at a .315 rate with 85 hits in 270 at-bats. To date he has hit 15 home runs, scored 85 runs and driven in 50. |
