FSL Names Catfish Barreras Winner Monday, July 13th , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Emilio Barreras was in a class by himself in the Florida State League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding shortstop for Lakeland tagged opposing pitchers for a .481 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 homers, 6 runs scored and 13 RBIs. This year, Barreras is hitting .316 with 98 hits, 8 home runs, 58 RBIs and has scored 44 runs. |
