Honeyman Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games

Travis Honeyman, right fielder for the Dunedin Danger, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 2 hits in his club's 7-5 victory over the Lakeland Catfish at Catfish Ballpark.
"Not the outcome we wanted," Lakeland manager said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Travis Honeyman grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
At the moment, Honeyman is batting .394 with 7 home runs and 30 RBIs. He has played in 31 games and scored 31 times.
