Caglianone Has Hot Hand, Bangs 6 hits Thursday, May 15th , 2025 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 6 hits in a day. Jac Caglianone is one of those rare few, as he went 6-for-7 against the Tampa Tigers at Ballpark of Tampa. The monster effort from the 22-year-old first baseman helped the Vero Beach Blue Angels get the win, 32-6. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Tigers manager . "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Jac Caglianone singled in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th, hit a three-run double in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
