Montgomery Selected Player of the Week Monday, July 21st , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Torin Montgomery was in a class by himself in the Midwest League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding first baseman for Modesto tagged opposing pitchers for a .565 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 homers, 9 runs scored and 7 RBIs. Thus far this season, Montgomery has hit .322 with 8 home runs, 37 RBIs and scored 45 times. |
