Pitelli Hits in 20 Straight Games Wednesday, August 20th , 2025 Dominic Pitelli's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 3-for-4 in his team's 11-10 triumph over the South Bend Fighting Irish at Vipers Ballpark. The 23-year-old shortstop has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Vipers. Dominic Pitelli singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in a run in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 9th. This season, Pitelli has posted a batting average of .333 with 104 hits in 312 at-bats, 5 home runs and 49 RBIs. He has also scored 59 runs, walked 40 times and compiled a .408 OBP. |
