Rumfield's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Modesto Miracle. For his exploits, Rumfield was named this week's Midwest League Player of the Week award. The Modesto first baseman put up 9 hits in 11 at-bats and 3 home runs while hitting .818 with 13 RBIs and 6 runs scored. |
