Chiu Takes Home MWL Top Batter Award Monday, September 1st , 2025 For a rookie just breaking in, Marcus Chiu certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the MWL Batter of the Month award for August. The 28-year-old second baseman for the Kane County Cougars hit .377 with 12 home runs, 36 RBIs and 34 runs scored. In 2025 Chiu has hit at a .292 clip with 119 hits, 23 home runs, 97 RBIs and has scored 90 times. |
