Best MWL Pitcher Announced Wednesday, October 1st , 2025 23-year-old Wyatt Crowell of the El Paso Diablos put together a good year in 2025 for such a young player. Crowell was named today as the winner of the Midwest League Outstanding Pitcher Award. Crowell crafted an impressive 13-7 record and a 4.52 ERA. In 153.1 innings he allowed 141 hits, struck out 153, and walked 84. He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 12. John Swanda of the Springfield Sluggers finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Chen-Wei Lin of the Truth or Con. Cactus BJacks finished third.
