Trei Cruz Wins MWL Trophy Monday, April 28th , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Trei Cruz had few peers in the Midwest League this past week. The talented shortstop for Grand Rapids tagged opposing pitchers for a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 1 homers, 7 runs scored and 6 RBIs. Thus far in 2025, Cruz is hitting .319 with 3 home runs, 12 RBIs, 12 runs scored and has compiled a .443 OBP. |
